Workforce Programs

Employment Resources Incorporated’s Workforce Programs help youth indentify and then pursue realistic career goals. Assistance in completing high school as well as post-secondary education or training is offered to eligible youth and young adults.

Workforce Training for Youth (14-17)

Employment Resources workforce training increases the academic, work readiness and occupational skills of younger youth while helping them indentify their future career and life goals.

While still in school, ERI provides eligible youth with:

  • Math and Reading Tutoring
  • SOL Remediation

ERI also provides information on:

  • Making Career Decisions
  • Creating a School-to-Career Transition Plan
  • Getting ready to join the Workforce
  • Classroom and Community-based Training
  • How to get and keep a job

Workforce Training for Young Adults (18-24)

Eligible young adults may participate in Employment Resources’ workforce trainings and programs such as:

  • High School Diploma Program
  • National Professional Certification Programs
  • Transitional Training Program
  • Independent Living Skills Program
  • Learner’s Permit Preparation Class
  • Occupational Skills Training
  • Career Assessment
  • Career Exploration
  • Job Readiness Training
  • Individual Job Placement
  • Job Retention and Follow-up Services
  • Paid and Unpaid Community Based Skills Training
